I signed up to keep more in shape and achieve goals that I have always struggled with.
Biggest take away would be the more understanding of nutrition and how my body reacts to them and what is better to digest and what I struggle with.
I have never worked with a coach that understand what’s is needed and also have ideas on switching things around that works for individuals and exercises.
It’s benefit me more than I thought by having a better routine and also nutrition understanding which helps with shift work and batch cooking.

I signed up to Empower because I wanted to try something new but wasn’t sure where to start. I’ve had 1:1 PT for 6 years from a range of trainers, so I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting that much from Empower because of the cost but I was very pleasantly surprised. The quality of the programming really impressed me; everything is well laid out, it’s easy to follow and genuinely supportive.
My biggest takeaway is that it’s about what you do most of the time that makes the difference. Empower has helped to show me it’s important to stay accountable, without being too hard on yourself and how to keep going, even when things don’t go to plan.
The coaching has been brilliant. They’re encouraging, responsive, and are excellent with problem solving to help meet you where you’re at – this isn’t a one size fits all plan, it’s very tailored to you. I’ve felt supported the whole way through and I didn’t feel like I was being judge or criticised when I couldn’t manage everything, which has been an issue for me in the past with previous coaches.
It’s helped me start to challenge my all or nothing thinking. The flexibility of the program helped me fit in what I could around work and with the help of Magda, I’ve tried to focus more on consistency than perfection. I haven’t managed to complete most of the workouts, but by following the nutrition and keeping my general activity up, I’ve lost 6kg which is the most progress I’ve made in years.
I’d recommend Empower to everyone who’s looking to improve their general health and overall fitness levels. It’s a great program for building consistency and its flexibility means it’s perfect for beginners and also for those who are more advanced. It’s hands down the best 12 week plan I’ve ever tried and it was also half the price of most plans available. I’ve already signed up for the next round.
I signed up for the empower challenge because I wanted to challenge myself both in the gym and nutritionally. I also wanted to try out having an online coach for the first time before the challenge my partner or myself were programing my lifting session and tried to eat in healthy ways. I would say the challenge met my expectations to the point that I signed up for another 12 weeks.
The biggest take away from these 12 weeks is that I can sustain a whole food-based meal plan and consistently eat the same meals without getting sick of them.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Meg, which was almost surreal to me at first since I’ve watched her and Kuba’s YouTubes for a while now. Meg was very responsive, helpful, and truly cared about my progress and overall wellbeing. She made my first experience with a coach truly enjoyable and easy. Meg and the MK eMpower challenge really showed me what I could do if I held myself more accountable and provided me with support if I felt like I needed it.
The eMpower challenge has benefitted me in many ways. The biggest way was showing me that I can stay on track meal plan wise while enjoying off plan meals that still stay within my allotted macros. It truly helped me gain a better relationship with food.

I signed up to the eMpower challenge because I was feeling my powerlifting strength training had stalled a bit, and I was curious to try a more body building focused training program. I also wanted to see if I could get a bit leaner. The eMpower met my expectations and more.
A new way of approaching strength training with more focus on form, tempo and intensity. Really making most of every single repetition and each set! I have never followed a meal plan, counted calories or thought about macronutrients before, and the eMpower has been a good experience with trying how meals can be planned and portioned to fit my life and goals.
Meg has been very attentive and has offered advice and followups, even between checkins, to make sure that I could reach my goals as efficiently as possible. The input has been personal but to the point and I have been looking forward to her recorded messages each check in. I will miss her guidance and support now that the challenge is over.
It has made sure that I stick to the plan, both with meals and my training. I have never been this lean and muscular before. It has shown me that I can accomplish quite much if I just give myself the tools and opportunity. It has been an effort, for sure, but I have been able to tailor it to fit my life and desires.
Anyone who would like to approach their training and nutrition to achieve a physique that they have not been able to achieve by themselves.
